Clean, new, very good one, except mattress was little bit too soft and the wheels of underneath windowside the bed were not secured
Recently renamed to the Azalea Motel and renovated - This is my 2nd time staying here. This time staying 4 nights to explore the region while on a working holiday with the laptop. The free WiFi signal is strong. The bed is super comfortable and the room is set well back from the highway so nice and quiet. The pool is well kept and a welcome extra in the lazy afternoons. There is a nice shady outdoor setting near the pool. It's a short drive to the tourist information centre, the town pool and the shops. If walk a lot and I enjoy walking into town most mornings, however I strongly recommend an early start when its cooler.
Regrettable. I'm trying to forget it and move on. Don't trust the photos or the reviews. The rooms have apparently been renovated but obviously by amateurs and on the cheap. The taps were old as was the shower screen and tiling. The bed linen was cheap and nasty and questionable as to its cleanliness. The grounds are run down. Avoid! Actually steer clear of Coonabaran if possible would be my general recommendation as the food here is also terrible but thats for another time.
So comfy. And excellent service.
Nice place to stay and the rain shower was fantastic with great water pressure.
