This was a good place to visit. The museum displays are great, and the videos are informative. The kiosk serves a good variety of food. The walk up to the observatory dome showed the vast countryside, but to also get close to the telescope was a great experience. It is well worth the visit here as you will not leave disappointed.
You must go to this observatory if you love stars and galaxies.
Great Morning exploring, the 3d movie was very interesting. I can highly recommend the cafe I visited on Wednesday 3rd October 2018 and the young lady working was outstanding, great friendly service and extremely busy on her own. Definitely a must do on your trip to Coonabarabran.
