Old style accomodation which is functional and bloody comfortable! A genuine country experience and attitude the most genuine people I have met in a long time and genuinely concerned with making the stay as comfortable as possible! We had issues with my car breaking down and were able to give us a lift to check on the car instead of walking in the heat and offered to let us stay in a cool place or the pool even though it was after check out time !!Bloody amazing people ! Thanks again to you both!
The staff here were just lovely! I arrived with my two small children and a dog and the gentleman who booked me in went above and beyond. They decided I would be better suited in a room which hadn't been cleaned so we're quick to get to work cleaning it before I arrived (we called on the way to book) I was so touched so much thought had gone into the room allocation. The owner then came down to give me a hand parking and made sure everything was OK. I asked in passing about a take away who delivers, there were no up to date menus for the Chinese which delivers so the owner wizard to the golf club to restock his supply and give me one. The room is extremely clean and comfortable
Old but clean, smells old (not fresh), fleas in bed, split system does not heat the kitchen area let alone the open plan living area , does have electric blankets, reasonable size tv with non interferable aerial service, plenty of parking, lots of beds, quiet area on out skirts of township, lots of room to move.

The wife and I arrived in Coonabarabran very late in the afternoon. As there were some festivities held over the weekend, it was difficult to get any accomodation at all. But the Castlereagh village had a room for us, which we took immediately, the room was very clean and the matresses were firm, just as we liked them, which in turn guaranteed a good rest for the following days travel to Melbourne. We've had a positive experience, to be recommended. Thank you.
